At Purang County's centralized care center for those in need, 11 elderly residents are looked after by 6 dedicated staff members in a space with 17 rooms and 34 beds. This year, an additional 8 million yuan from the government is turning the facility into an even better home — with new shower rooms, laundry rooms, upgraded activity spaces, and oxygen supply in every bedroom.
